If breakfast is presumed to be the most important meal of the day, why on earth would you want to fill up on empty calories? Most Americans today struggle between the need for quick convenient meals and the desire to eat healthy, feeling as if they...

Everyone loves pigs! Even if they don’t want to own one, they still like them. This is why pigs have made it big on the silver screen. Some pigs have even became celebrities unto themselves. Here is a list of five of the most famous...

March 26th is National Make Up Your Own Holiday Day!  As any respectable pig lover would do, I am making yet another day all about pigs and what better idea than to celebrate with a wonderful manicure. So, if you needed an excuse to slip off...

Miss Piggy

Of course, this precious pig should be at the top of our list. She’s beautiful, glamorous, popular, world-wise and knows exactly what she wants in life. She is a prima-donna who oozes grace, charm, and beauty… and we never see her with hardly a hair out of place. She also reeks of talent: singing, dancing, acting, speaking French, and even knows karate! What we love about her most is that she isn’t afraid to follow her heart even if it means breaking the rules… falling in love with a little green frog for example. If the love of her life steps out of line, she has the spunk and character to let him know it too!

See, Halloween is over (duh) and I was sort of hoping to get some Halloween stuff for next year. I figured that if you buy it now, and just store it somewhere for a year, you could save a ton of money on merchandise, right?   Wrong.   Apparently, most stores send back their costumes immediately after Halloween ends (like, that night after the stores close on October 31) and they get some of their money back on whatever they didn't sell.   I get it, and it makes sense for the stores, but I kind of wish they would leave their extra Halloween gear out for a day or two. I feel like you could really have some fun in a Halloween surplus store!

This could be interpreted in different ways depending on how you read it. Nothing like a little piggy innuendo for a chuckle. Next time I get a sore throat or laryngitis, I'll be using Miss Piggy's 'I have a frog in my throat' line.  ...

I'm really excited to start blogging about pigs. For those of you who know me, know that I've liked pigs for many many years. In fact, my very first stuffed animal I owned was Miss Piggy. I also happen to be born on the Year...
