Miss Piggy

Of course, this precious pig should be at the top of our list. She’s beautiful, glamorous, popular, world-wise and knows exactly what she wants in life. She is a prima-donna who oozes grace, charm, and beauty… and we never see her with hardly a hair out of place. She also reeks of talent: singing, dancing, acting, speaking French, and even knows karate! What we love about her most is that she isn’t afraid to follow her heart even if it means breaking the rules… falling in love with a little green frog for example. If the love of her life steps out of line, she has the spunk and character to let him know it too!

Ok, so I found one of the coolest images on the planet (at least, for me!) the other day. It turns out that in the 1930s, the Russians got a pig drunk and sent him into space!   No, seriously. It was in 1938 or so, and they were experimenting with aircrafts and space travel, and they decided to send a pig into space before sending any human into space. (You history buffs will remember that the Russians would later send Yuri Gagarin out by the stars, becoming the first man ever to go into space!)
[caption id="attachment_2172" align="aligncenter" width="364" caption="Picture from http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/SuperHero"][/caption]   So my theory is that growing up, we all wanted to be superheroes. You know the ones - Spiderman, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman. I think that every kid growing up thought about that one special super power that they would like to have, and then started idolizing one or two superheroes who they really could relate to or dreamed of one day becoming.   Of course you KNOW my favorite superheroes had to do with pigs :) I was a fan of Super Pig - or, the better-known Japanese version Tonde Boorin. When I was a kid, I would watch everything I could get my hands on that involved either Super Pig, or his lesser-known superhero buddy, Spider-Ham. Superheroes and pigs all in one? Sign me up!

It's tax season. A guy was bold enough to want to use his pet pig as a tax deduction. He walked into Lupo & Associates and wanted to claim $7,000 in expenses for his pig's medical bills and food. And if he were approved, he...
